trust administration with or without court involvement.

are difficult to appraise, such as closely-held business interests
and unusual real estate.
- Allocating assets among sub-trusts, a process that normally occurs
after the death of a spouse and often includes business, income tax
and transfer tax planning.
- Preparing gift and estate tax returns, and providing representation
in related tax examinations.
- Advising clients with regard to the timing and content of accountings
to beneficiaries.
- Advising trustees regarding fiduciary duties and when appropriate
helping them obtain court approval for certain proposed actions.
- Modifying or terminating irrevocable trusts through appropriate
court proceedings.
- Assisting clients with guardianships and conservatorships.
- Resolving claims by creditors of a decedent.
