Delta Watermaster Extends Deadline for Alternative Delta Water Right Reporting

On November 25, 2024, the Delta Watermaster announced that the deadline for water right reporting for the 2024 water year using the Delta Alternative Compliance Plan (Delta ACP) has been extended from February 1, 2025, to April 1, 2025. The Delta ACP enables water diverters to measure and report water use within the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta (Delta) using satellite imaging and evapotranspiration data. The regulatory deadline was extended to account for delays in updating the Delta ACP online platform.
