Panelist, 2024 Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite

On Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 9:15 a.m., Downey Brand partner Meredith Nikkel will be speaking at the 2024 Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite National Park. Meredith will be speaking alongside Marianna Aue of the California State Water Resources Board and Krystal Moreno of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians in a presentation titled Go With the Flow, where she will discuss what we can expect from the State Water Board’s recent adoption of emergency regulations to protect instream flows, the pending litigation challenging curtailments under these regulations, and the Board’s emergency and long-term regulations to maintain flows as outlined in the Bay-Delta plan. The panel will be moderated by Karrigan Börk of UC Davis School of Law.
