League of California Cities' 2024 City Attorneys Spring Conference


Downey Brand partner Kathryn Oehlschlager will be joining Jon Holtzman and Rubin E. Cruse Jr. of Renne Public Law Group on Wednesday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the League of California Cities (LOCC) City Attorneys Spring Conference in Rancho Mirage for a panel titled (NOT) Burning Down the House. The session will address state laws seeking to increase housing in relation to the competing local government policies aiming to preserve the environment and reduce the risk of fires for such housing. The panel will explain the tension between these laws, analyze case studies and suggest tools to help navigate conflicting policies.
