This area has developed distinctive characteristics deeply intertwined with its land, people, and vital resources like food, water, and transportation, all of which have profoundly influenced our state’s development.

This year’s conference will delve into the past, present, and future of our profession, examining both its triumphs and challenges. We will discuss critical topics such as affordable housing, equity in our communities, strategies for planning in the face of climate change, and tackling issues pertinent to environmental and social justice.

Join us from September 28 – October 1, 2024, for a forward-looking exploration into the evolving landscape of California’s planning community. There’s so much to learn and debate as we consider what lies ahead for California.
