Downey Brand partner Meredith Nikkel will be offering her perspective on the interplay between groundwater adjudication and SGMA implementation at Law Seminars International’s Comprehensive Conference on SGMA’s Next Phase this July 25th and 26th.

Meredith will be joined by two other California water law professionals in a discussion centered on the question: Given that pumpers will look at an allocation in light of what they would expect to get in adjudication, and that adjudication must figure out safe yields and can’t slow down SGMA implementation, what are the pros and cons of doing adjudication?
