Kevin J. Rooney

Kevin Rooney is a seasoned trial attorney with more than a decade of legal experience as a criminal prosecutor in New York and California.

Kevin developed exceptional litigation skills while prosecuting serious and complex criminal cases, a proficiency that he brings to his current litigation practice where he represents clients in complex business, construction, real property, and employment litigation disputes.

As Deputy District Attorney of San Joaquin County, he prosecuted numerous cases typically related to pattern robberies, special circumstance murders, and multi-defendant gang cases. Kevin most recently worked as a Chief Deputy District Attorney for San Joaquin County, where he managed the Mainline and Misdemeanor Trial Units as well as the Violent Criminal Enterprise Unit.

Kevin is heavily community-oriented and gives much of his time to local philanthropic efforts such as Love Thy Neighbor Ministries, the Catholic Youth Organization where he coaches basketball, and at his alma mater, Stanford Law, where he volunteers as a teacher for the Trial Advocacy Skills Workshop.
