Associate Brianna Nielsen Joins Downey Brand’s Corporate Group

Downey Brand is pleased to announce associate Brianna Nielsen has joined the firm’s corporate group.

Brianna comes to the firm following her work as an associate at Weintraub Tobin, where she primarily focused in the areas of business and real estate litigation. She has experience representing clients in a wide variety of disputes, from breach of contract to partnership disputes to landlord-tenant disputes, which has resulted in her seamless integration into every aspect of corporate governance, transactions, and real estate matters as an associate at Downey Brand. Combined with her creativity and business savvy, Brianna’s strategic approach to analyzing complex legal challenges empowers her to consistently achieve success for clients in all manner of corporate transactional disputes. In 2023, she was honored as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers.

Brianna earned her J.D. with Distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. While in law school, Brianna served as an editor for Law Review and was a treasurer of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club and a member of the Business Law Society.

Outside of work, Brianna is an ancient history buff and loves spending time outdoors. You can find her skiing, working on her pilot’s license, or hiking with her dog.
