Downey Brand: Making a Difference at Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services

Downey Brand attorneys and staff, along with friends and family, had a great time volunteering together at Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services (SFBFS) on Thursday, October 5. Volunteering at the Food Bank is one of the firm’s favorite community team-building activities. Collectively, we were able to assemble, fill, and stack 340 boxes of food for the Food Bank’s senior meal program and sort and bag 100 sacks of potatoes and 300 sacks of pears.
A heartfelt thanks to the dedicated team members who volunteered their time.

The firm is excited to assemble a team for the largest Thanksgiving Day fun run in the country. For us, it’s more than just enjoying the festivities with friends and family – it’s about giving back and making a positive impact in our community. All proceeds from the race go to support SFBFS and fulfill its mission of providing basic human needs and services to those throughout our region.
