Downey Brand Welcomes Sean McKissick to its Litigation Practice in Sacramento

Downey Brand is pleased to announce the addition of counsel Sean McKissick to its trust and estate litigation practice in Sacramento.

Sean brings with him more than ten years of legal experience from his time spent working in Los Angeles, where he represented a range of clients from both the private and public sectors. Sean’s extensive involvement across a wide variety of industries in addition to his trust and estate work includes healthcare, real estate, civil rights, and white-collar criminal defense. He is also fluent in Spanish and was featured on Univision in connection with his pro bono immigration work, in which he represented clients from countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, and Eritrea.

Sean earned his J.D. in 2008 from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law, where he also worked as a research assistant. Prior to law school, Sean received his B.A. in English, cum laude, from Brigham Young University.
