Jamie Dreher to Serve as Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference

Downey Brand is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Jamie P. Dreher as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. Jamie will serve as a Lawyer Representative for a period of three years, commencing January 1, 2016 and ending December 31, 2018.

Lawyer Representatives to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference are chosen to serve three-year terms representing attorneys practicing in each of the Ninth Circuit’s fifteen districts and play an important role in the administration of justice and the safeguarding of fairness in the administration of the courts within the circuit. Lawyer Representatives work closely with their District, Bankruptcy and Magistrate Judges to foster open communication between judges and attorneys, and provide support and advice in the functioning of the courts.
