The 2023-2024 Legislative Session has now come to a close and a number of bills have been signed by the Governor. Downey Brand partner Amy Higuera provides a bill summary reflecting bills that were enacted as part of the Legislative Session. As expected, the Legislature continued its efforts to address the housing crisis, with the Governor signing more than 50 housing bills, the most important of which are summarized here. Unless otherwise noted, all bills signed by the Governor will go into effect on January 1, 2024.
