State Water Board to Hold Implementation Workshops for Newly Released Draft Bay-Delta Plan Update

On November 6, 2024, the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) issued a revised notice (Notice) for the draft update to the Water Quality Control Plan for the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Watershed (Bay-Delta Plan). This draft update concerns water quality objectives for the Delta, its eastside tributaries, and the Sacramento River, and includes a proposed program of implementation. The State Water Board will hold five workshops on the various elements of the draft update and seeks written public comments.
